As the Hemlock fugitives set about salvaging their crash-landed ship, Ash makes her escape through an alien desert in a desperate attempt to call home. En route she makes an unwelcome acquaintance of scruffy space-pirate, Echo Nantu-Rose.

Drifting through space without coordinates, the gang encounter a new setback as the Hemlock is running out of power. The solution is robbing a fuel reserve.

The gang ditch the Hemlock in favour of something a little less conspicuous. The group end up getting more than they bargained for when they encounter the eccentric Professor Blake.

In search of medical attention for Ash, the Hemlock makes a stop on Candys home planet of Skov. However, their new destination is in some trouble.

Tensions run high after Emmas capture and Ash finds herself alone. Meanwhile, the band make a discovery aboard the ship.
